Grill great, shipping not so.

"The grill has been performing as advertised. Easy to use and setup, great range of temperature. WiFi works great. The shipping if the product was terrible. FedEx did not handle the package well at all. Rolled it off the truck, creased the top of the grill. It arrived and was drug up the drive way. I put it all together and didn’t realize how badly fedex damaged the grill."

Impressed so far

"I've only done a couple of cooks so far but the build quality is impressive. Having used a larger smoker in the past, I was concerned the 600 might be too small but I easily got two ribeyes and a tri-tip on. I like to reverse sear, so after they hit 120 internal, I pulled to rest and set grill to HI. This thing hit almost 600 in just a few minutes and I got a great sear and perfect medium rare results. Looking forward to more great meals."

Back in the saddle

"This is my first pellet grill, and I have to say, I should have purchased this guy sooner. It actually makes cooking outside easier and more enjoyable, even in the Deep South summertime. I had no difficulty assembling this grill and it took me approximately 1-1-2 hours as I was taking my time and not rushing. So far, I’ve cooked a Beef Brisket, Hot Dogs, and 4 slabs of Baby back ribs. I bought it just in front of their Labor Day sale and I bought one of their bundles that came with the drip pan liners, bucket liners, fold down table, pellets, grill brush, gloves, rubs and such, and a grill cover. The salesperson was nice enough to issue me a refund for the difference of what I paid and their sale price. Super nice guy. I love the quality of this grill! I’d recommend it to anyone needing a pellet grill."

Smokin

"Grill/smoker is working as designed. During "Burn-in" the temps wobbled a bit, but soon became steady. The few cooks I've done have come out perfect, actually better than I anticipated. A friend told me "If you're looking you're not smoking". Indeed that is when the temps might vary a bit, but soon leveled out. I thought there might be a learning curve. I found that reading different recipes and hearing different experiences helped me when it came down to grilling time... No blunders yet."

First pellet cooker

"I'm so impressed with this smoker. It is incredibly easy to use and makes great food. Assembly was a bit involved and a corner of the grill got bumped during shipment, but some prying and wrenching got everything set. It is very solid and I'm satisfied with the build quality."

"I really like my new Recteq smoker. I've never had a smoker and my family and I have been enjoying how good the smoked meat is. It was a bit of a challenge putting it together since the unit suffered a little in the transport, but once it was together it has been working very well."

"Solid construction, perfect size for a small family to make smoked dinners. Packaging & Shipping Issues

"The Grill works great, and I am very pleased with it. But the process of getting a grill to me is why I have given 3 stars. The first grill was all beat up due to shipping and packaging issues and had to be returned. My second grill was not in the best shape. Replacement parts are on order. For the price, I would expect the grill to arrive in perfect condition. Last week, I ordered drip can liners, and they arrived crushed; let's get it together. I have shared all of this with Customer Services."

So far amazing, without small dissapointment

"I've used my patio legend just about every other day since it arrived. I was unable at first to connect to wifi but customer service quickly addressed the issue with an updated app. It did arrive with some cosmetic damage and some difficulty with hardware threading in. I was a little disappointed in that aspect and cut my arm on the damaged area. If I buy again I would purchase in store so I could turn away any damage and avoid assembly headache. It has been working flawlessly however."
