"I am a "Seasoned" cook. I have been looking for a grill that will also smoke and uses pellets. Recteq has finally done it for me. This grill checks off all the boxes for smoking meats, baking, grilling and all around cooking. I was only disappointed in the electronic controls do not come on during the grilling mode. this would have been a nice feature for Recteq to include the ambient temperature inside the grill during grilling or baking. They say the grill will reach temps of 1,250 but i have not been able to achieve this yet. M. M."

Grillin & Chillin
"The X-Fire Pro is my first pellet grill. I have been grilling on a Weber Summit for the past 10+ years so the pellet grill is a new experience. I love the versatility of the X-Fire but it will take some time to improve my smoking skills. Looking forward to mastering all the ways of making flavorful dishes with the X-Fire."

Great grilling!!
"We’ve had charcoal and gas grills prior to this and the food was good but this grill put every one of them to shame. The flavor the wood pellets infuses the food with is indescribably good. It’s elevated grilling from ‘optional’ to ‘preferable’ when considering whether to grill or cook in the kitchen. The quality of the workmanship is much higher than the grills we’ve always been in the habit of purchasing from the box stores. We never, prior to now, looked at grills as something you can hand down to your kids. The six year warranty convinced us to give it a try (as ours only last 3-4 years) but when it showed up, the quality of the construction - with cast iron grills, solid, thick stainless steel - vs. the thin sheets we were used to - and the heavy weight stand were incredibly impressive. We also love the rotisserie option. We’ve bought several countertop rotisserie units over the years in an effort to obtain the same roasted chicken taste we get at some grocery stores. We never thought there was a better taste but we’d never tried a chicken rotisseried over wood. It is next level - we haven’t gotten a rotisserie from a store since. Thank you so much for making such a fantastic grill!!! We look forward to handing ours down to the kids."

"The heating mechanism has gone out three times. We wanted to return it after the second time bc it was only a two months in but the company refused bc it was after two weeks. Soo we have a 1,600& paperweight in our garage."

Almost perfect
"This grill is great, but it was so disappointing it didn’t work right out of the box, I had to call customer service to figure out why the right side igniter didn’t work. Customer service was great, I moved the igniter as directed and the grill has been perfect since. It’s truly an amazing grill but can’t give it 5 stars."

My perfect grill
"Honestly, this is perfect for me. I didn't want to have multiple grills, and I was missing having a pellet grill. This is the best of both worlds. I've now smoked ribs and a shoulder. I've grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken. Everything is great. Download the firmware update before you do your first run!"

I love it. . . My son
"I love it. . . My son leaves for the Air Force Academy July 13th, and he has been smoking it up every since we got it. In fact every time I go to use it, he will not let me and he does it himself. Furthermore, this thing gets way hotter than expected in grill mode also. I was afraid I would miss my gas grill, but absolutely not. Thank you for a great product."
