So far, the Recteq Flagship
"So far, the Recteq Flagship 1600 has been a a blast to own! First off, the packaging was almost too good. I’m pretty sure this thing could’ve been dropped out of a helicopter and still arrived ready to smoke. Setup was surprisingly easy, the first burn-in went perfectly, and then came the real test… feeding the family. First smoke came off the grill and suddenly everybody was a BBQ critic. Luckily, the reviews were good. Temperature stayed solid, the smoker was easy to use, and the food turned out great. At this point I’m starting to think the Flagship 1600 might make me look like I actually know what I’m doing. Very happy with the purchase so far. Now I just need to figure out how many briskets it takes before I can officially start calling myself a pitmaster."

True believer
"I have owned every Main Brand smoker out from the Camp Chef, Webber, Treager all the way to the last brand I will ever purchase from, Recteq. I purchased a Bullseye online and fell in love. My best pork butt I have ever smoked was on that. Soooo much smoke!!! I did have to contact Tech Support and they answered the phone, speaking plain English and helped me quickly. Really good service!! After 6 months, I decided to build my outdoor kitchen and instead of having 3-4 grills, I opted to up my game with a Flagship 1600 XL & I’m so glad I did. I cook everything on it. I just fed my neighborhood a huge brisket that I low smoked for 18 hours. Check out the smoke ring on that!!!! Go out and get a Real Smoker, a Recteq!"

Best grill/smoker in the world
"An absolutely unbelievable experience owning this grill. I've had Pit Boss, Treagor, and this will be my final stop for years to come. The quality, the ease of use, the performance all A+++. I'm making the best food I ever have made because of this grill. I want to use it right now just talking about it!"

No Regrets
"Drove 4. 5hrs to pick it up from hq two days before my birthday so I could cook on it. It is big enough to cook for a large party and not a hassle to cook for a small family. Smoke box is a must! Build, cook, and temp maintain is on spot for their reputation as the best 🇺🇸 made grill. You have hot zones you’ll have to figure out but that’s with any grill. I cook 4 whole chickens, 12lb brisket, 2 butts, baked beans, corn, and 3 packs of sausages my first cook. No problem and no worries. Assemblely was a breeze. I love the chrome horns better than the black horns. I had the x-fire pro. It is a great grill, but this 1600 is a real smoker. I’ve own and cooked off of pitsboss, treaters, green mountain, and even my homemade trailer smoker. I love my flagship 1600!"

Solid Grill
"First of all, the instructional video for assembly was very informative and I had no issues putting the grill together. While putting the grill together, I noticed the high-quality materials everything was made of. The craftsmanship, design, and metal materials are top notch. My first cook (ribs) came out perfect and the heat stayed very consistent with plenty of smoke. Highly recommend this grill."

Flagship 1600
"I love the flagship 1600, but I’m a little disappointed with the leak that comes out of the right hand side of the belly. So many users have expressed this concern on the reqtec forum. Customer service said it should go away when enough ash settles on the bottom of the belly. So I have put a pan on the right hand side so the grease doesn’t stain my new deck."

I hope it gets better
"Upon receiving my new smoker from shipping company after it was lost in transit I got to assembling. Took about an hour to assemble. Directions were easy enough to follow. I have had my smoker for three weeks now and still haven’t been able to use it due to RTD wires were rubbed in half. I contacted recteq and found out that a new RTDs were on back order. That was two weeks ago. Other than that love the size of the smoker and look forward to using it."

Works great
"I started out with the Bull 700 about 6 years ago, and just bought the 1600. Took a bit to replace the 700 which is built into my outdoor kitchen. The 1600 looks and works great. My bull 700 still looks great with very few issues. Gave the Bull 700 to my young son for his house."

The smoke is a little
"The smoke is a little low even on extreme smoke but that’s just the nature of a pellet grill and was expected. Build quality is very good with no visible corners cut. The only issue I’ve had is I can’t get the wifi to connect and have been unable to use the app since my purchase. Again it’s not that big of a deal since I’m a hands on cook and have always used large offset smokers and had to be hands on or close by."

Awesome grill!
"This is my third pellet grill Traeger, Pit Boss not the Recteq. Recteq is far and away the best grill. Heat is faster. Temper control is MUCH more precise. It will control temperature lower and higher than the previous pellet grills. It imparts so much more smoke into the meat. The smoke flavor is undeniable. Love my Recteq!"
